59yrs, left salpingo-oophorectomy, what would make endo flare?

At 59yrs and 7yrs after a left salpingo-oophorectomy, neck of cervix remaining, what would make endo flare MAJORLY?

One of the most common myths is that menopause is the end of endometriosis symptoms. Another myth is that a hysterectomy will also cure endometriosis. Especially if the lesions were not removed properly, symptoms can still persist and respond the same way as they would during reproductive years.

So in other words, endometriosis can flare in respond to stress, diet, infections, lack of sleep, high intensity physical activity etc. For many it’s individual, so evaluate what used to cause endometriosis to flare and start there. Also, keep in mind there may be other processes going on and to consult your provider.
