I also engage in a detailed discussion with the patient to understand the nature, intensity, and duration of their persistent symptoms. I then schedule regular follow-up appointments to monitor the patient’s progress, assess the effectiveness of the chosen management strategies, and make any necessary adjustments to the treatment plan.
