The care I received from Dr. Kamran was outstanding! I have stage 4 endometriosis which had infiltrated my bowel in addition to causing hydrosalpinx to my left fallopian tube. Naturally I was very anxious about surgery however Dr. Kamran took time to explain everything. He continuely took time to listen to my concerns. I trusted his ability to perform my procedure and on the day of my surgery I knew I was in the best hands. My procedure was a success! Despite extensive surgery, my bowel function was restored and so too was my fertility. In the days following my procedure Dr. Kamran took time from his busy schedule to monitor my recovery. His attention to detail is highly commendable. A few weeks following my surgery Dr. Kamran examined my recovery again. The results were incredible! An ultrasound found no evidence of endometriosis. Dr. Kamran also provided a tailored aftercare plan.

Prior to surgery, I was in pain every day of the month, now I am pain free! I could not be happier with the outcome of my surgery.

Dr. Kamran’s skills and knowledge of endometriosis has improved my quality of life, not just physically but emotionally too.

Dr. Kamran is a credit to our country’s health care system. I’ve never met anyone who works as hard as he does. He is completely dedicated to his profession and is an expert in his field. His intentions are always to help and provide the best possible solution one’s personal situation.
I would highly recommend Dr. Kamran for anyone suffering with endometriosis.

I will be forever grateful for the care I received from Dr. Kamran and his wonderful team.

I met Dr Kamran two years ago for stage 4 deep infiltrating endometriosis. He is the most caring, understanding and engaged doctor I have ever met. His team of nurses in the Beacon is also fantastic.

His surgical skills are the best in Ireland for gynaecological surgery and arguably in Europe as he performs up to 1400 surgeries a year.

After my last surgery, which included extensive excision of endo, bowel resection, vaginal resection, cervix and uterus removal, he visited me and everyone of his patients every day in hospital. The recovery was amazingly straightforward- 4 weeks later and I’m fully mobile, eating well and pain free.

I feel extremely lucky to have been in his care and will forever be grateful to Dr Kamran to have been given a second chance at living life to the fullest.

I can not thank Mr. Kamran enough. After years of horrendous symptoms, being dismissed, gaslit, and told that it was normal, Mr Kamran knew within a few minutes of an examination that I needed further examination. Was compassionate and listened. Made me feel heard for the first time. Scheduled my surgery and removed extensive endometriosis, stage 4. Explained everything in great detail and was able to remove all endo. I had trouble conceiving and now I know why. He is confident that I will go on to have babies very soon(he said twins hahaha). Following my surgery I had issues with nerves and went back in to A&E, he had been carrying out surgery all day and that evening came to see me in A&E and knew exactly what the issue was and had me sorted straight away. Today I had my review post op and again his kindness and knowledge lifted me. He said today that I would probably have gone down the road of spending thousands on IVF if I hadn’t have gone about endo and the issue was endo the whole time. I also had a nodule removed from the entrance of the bowel which of left longer could have had major complications. He is doing so much for the women of Ireland and is really pushing for change. I wish we could clone him and spread him across the country. I am so grateful to Mr. Kamran and I would recommend him to everyone that has any concerns. Please don’t take no for an answer and go and see Mr. Kamran. Don’t accept blood tests, ultrasounds, your GP’s opinion as gospel, the only way to diagnose is through laparoscopy and I wouldn’t go to anyone else. Also the staff at the Beacon were warm and caring throughout it all. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I cannot thank or praise Mr Kamran enough.

I had stage 4 endo which was complex and had gone onto my bowel in a couple of places. In the lead up to my surgeries he took the time to explain everything and I felt I was listened to. He went out of his way to help me when I was in nearly daily pain as well as the other severe issues that endo causes.

My surgeries included having to get a stoma. Even though the first surgery had complications I healed very well and going back for the stoma reversal I felt very safe with Mr Kamran as my surgeon. During my hospital stays he visited his patients every single day no matter how late and even at the weekends. The nurses were high in their praise of him with one saying he was the hardest working consultant in the hospital.

Now after years of pain I am pain free and so grateful for all Mr Kamran did for me. I would 100 percent recommend him especially for women with complex stage 4 endo.

The care I received from Dr Kamran was remarkable. In last few years I visited many Doctors but no one told me what exactly I have, Mr kamran took time to listen to my health concerns. He diagnosed me with endometriosis infiltrated with bowel and one blocked fallopian tube. At the beginning I was quite concern about the surgery but Dr kamran explained me everything so well. I trusted him to perform my procedure and it was a success. After the procedure He took time form his busy hours to monitor my recovery.
He is fully dedicated and had vast knowledge and experience in his area of expertise. I would highly recommend DR KAMRAN to anyone who is suffering from endometriosis. And I have always been thankful to Dr Kamran and His team for taking care of me in this disease.

I have nothing but praise for Dr. Kamran. He is a highly skilled surgeon with deep knowledge on endometriosis. After living in pain for years and going undiagnosed despite numerous investigations, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 deep infiltrating endometriosis which had spread to my bowel and involved extremely complex surgery. I was initially referred to another consultant who left me in limbo for 7 months, could not perform my surgery laparoscopically and who left me feeling rather anxious. I certainly did not trust him to perform my surgery and it was then that I decided I wanted to go for a second opinion. Dr Kamran came highly recommended and what can I say only great things. He made me feel at ease, he showed a wealth of knowledge on endometriosis, explained how common my condition was and reassured me that I was in safe hands and best of all that he could perform the surgery laparoscopically meaning quicker recovery and smaller scars. I knew within an instant that he was the surgeon for me.
While I had a complication in my initial surgery, it was rectified immediately and I fully trusted Dr Kamran. The aftercare I received was second to none and quite remarkable really. Dr Kamran came to visit me everyday during my hospital stay and followed up with calls during my recovery and several appointments to check my recovery was going to plan, which it was. Fast forward 8 wks and I am endometriosis free as well as pain free and have more energy now than I have had in years. It’s hard to believe! Dr Kamran is a miracle worker and a credit to the profession. I will truly be forever grateful to him. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Kamran. He is also involved in setting up a support group for endometriosis sufferers further demonstrating his dedication to the cause. We need more doctors like him!

The care I received from Dr.Kamran was outstanding. I had endometriosis on my uterus and deep infiltration into the bladder. I was really anxios about the surgery however Dr. Kamran took time to explain everything several times before surgery so I knew that i am in good hands and the surgery was successful as well. He took time to examine my recovery after the surgery and i got the best care from him and from his nurses team as well at the Beacon hospital. He is the most caring, understanding and helpful doctor i have ever met. I feel extremely lucky to have been in his care and will forever be greatful to Dr. Kamran for everything what he done for me, because he is a miracle worker and we need more doctors like him!

I would highly recommend Dr Kamran! I was referred to him with severe stage 4 endometriosis, frozen pelvis and bowel involvement. I was in pain pretty much every day and could not see an end to it. Plus having done my own research I realised I could end up with endo spreading to other organs, a thought I was terrified of!
initially I struggled with the decision to go ahead with surgery but Dr Kamran and the nursing team were very accommodating, I spoke to the nurses on numerous occasions and my husband came to meet with Dr Kamran too and talk through my options.

In the end I did need extensive surgery, hysterectomy leaving one ovary, excision of endometriosis, bowel resection and removal of appendix as the endo had gone through that too! Dr Kamran managed to complete my bowel resection without a stoma, utterly amazing!!
I cannot say enough good things about my time in hospital. Dr Kamran came to check on me every single day and all of his team were so wonderful in taking care of me. You are feeling so vulnerable after this type of surgery so I will be forever grateful for the care I received.
Dr Kamran is not only a fantastic and skilled surgeon but a genuinely nice person.

Highly recommend Dr Karman. I was officially diagnosed with severe stage 4 endometriosis in 2011 via lap with Merrion clinic. Years of agonizing pain and over four years of failed IVF attempts, A&E visits for pain and cancelled cycles. Left Merrion and got a referral letter to the Beacon Women’s clinic. I met Dr Karman in the March of 2023, had an MRI within 2 weeks. Surgery was booked in for June. He removed my left ovary and part of the bowel. I am six weeks post operation; level of care has been fantastic. I have recovered well, and all traces of endometriosis gone. He is kind, honest and really took the time to fully explain the affects of endo in my body. I trust him completely. I have already noticed a huge difference in my quality of life – less tired, bloating and pain. Only wish I met him 10 years ago. Finally hopeful after so many years hitting a wall. Thank you for everything!
