I’m almost 40 years old, going through IVF for the past 2 years. I’ve had 4 cancelled transfers due to a thin lining and two failed transfers, one after 2 months suppression on Orilissa (was able to get lining to 7mm). Based on a pelvic exam with an endo excision surgeon, it’s suspected I have stage 3 or 4 endo due to left uterosacral ligament being tight and nodular, rectovaginal septum pulls at rectum, cervical lift elicits pain and nodules palpitated on left side. Waiting on results from ultrasound scans, but endo doctor advised they would likely recommend excision surgery before attempting another transfer. However, my fertility doctor does not agree with surgery and wants to try another transfer with 2 months Orilissa suppression. I only have 2 healthy embryos left. Which route is best?
