What you should know about me: Anna is a proud California girl. Originally from San Jose, Anna ventured down the coast to study Human Development at UCSD. She became interested in physical therapy during her undergraduate studies when she volunteered at an outpatient orthopedic clinic. She loved being able to help people regain mobility and see their progress week to week. She decided to stay in San Diego to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine.
Her passion for women’s health physical therapy blossomed during a guest lecture at PT school about the pelvic floor. After that lecture, the spark was lit, and her focus has been on women’s health and pelvic floor physical therapy ever since. Anna loves working with women who are pregnant, postpartum, or suffering from chronic pelvic pain. She enjoys being able to educate women about their anatomy and help them through very unique stages in their lives.
