Hello
I have endometriosis, recently I had a colonoscopy, and it turns out I have different inflamed parts in my colon, The doctor is not 100% sure it’s bowl endometriosis but I wanted to ask people who have it about the symptoms, especially this one symptom that is affecting my life which is chronic gurgling sounds from my abdominal area, especially when I eat and I lay down, I start to have cramps and really loud noises coming from my digestive system, this condition is preventing me from even being around people because it’s not just painful but embarrassing as well, is it a common symptoms of bowel endometriosis? Is there a way to treat it?

As a pelvic floor physical therapist who works with individuals managing endometriosis or seeking a diagnosis, I would also assess colon mobility, as restrictions from improper breathing mechanics, abdominal muscle tension, and visceral tension (tension within the organs) can contribute to abdominal pain and discomfort. Evaluating how your abdomen is moving and supporting any underlying mechanical or structural factors can provide meaningful support and help manage pain while you continue seeking a diagnosis for endometriosis.
Hello. First you should have a consultation with a gynecologist that have experience with endometriosis; depending on what it will be found, you may need a pelvic MRI to see if the bowel issues are from endometriosis. Also an antiinflammatory diet will help.
