Bre is a California native and grew up in the Bay Area. She worked her way down the coast, first studying psychology and communication at UC Santa Barbara, and then getting her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. She was first introduced to women’s health and pelvic floor PT during her last year of school where she quickly realized how beneficial and necessary this line of work was. She decided she wanted to work with and educate women about their bodies so that she could help improve their quality of life. She has become especially interested in helping women through their pregnancy/postpartum journey after having recently gone through that herself.
Bre takes a holistic approach to treating her patients and often incorporates general wellness practices into her treatment sessions. She also strives to help her patients understand the purpose behind the therapy they are receiving so they can begin to relate to their bodies differently and take an active role in their rehabilitation process.

Andrea was raised in Minnesota. She traded the snow for sunshine and moved to Arizona for undergrad. After graduating with her BS in Kinesiology from Arizona State University, she went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from AT Still University in Mesa, Arizona. She started her career in acute care before finding her passion in Women’s Health. She joined a multi-disciplinary team working alongside Urogynecologists and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners to treat patients with pelvic floor disorders. Andrea has extensive experience treating patients with pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, urinary retention, fecal incontinence and pre/post vaginal reconstructive surgery. She believes in empowering women with education to understand their anatomy and physiology through every stage of life. Outside of the clinic, you can find Andrea spending time with her twin girls, running, cycling or cheering on the Green Bay Packers.

My name is Dr. Cindy Okpegbue I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in sports medicine in 2016 at coppin state university. I then went on to receive my Doctorate in physical therapy from New York Institute of technology in 2020. Over the last two years of being a physical therapist, women’s health and empowerment has been my passion. I have taken additional courses in this area of study to ensure I stay up to date with the latest clinical information. What I love about being a pelvic floor physical therapist, is the ability to educate and advocate for individuals experiencing Pelvic floor dysfunction.
My hobbies include running, lifting weights, listening to a podcast, traveling, and spending quality time with my friends and family. I have participated in a variety of sports throughout my life which includes playing collegiate volleyball at a D1 university. I enjoy meeting new people and assisting individuals in reaching their full potential.

Ashley is a doctor of physical therapy. She has advanced certification in the treatment of Pelvic Health and Obstetric Health (CAPP-Pelvic, CAPP-OB). She specializes in the treatment of pelvic floor muscle dysfunctions including pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, pregnancy related pain, postpartum recovery, and bowel and bladder dysfunction. She is a practicing clinician, educator, and author in the field of women’s health physiotherapy.
She has taught courses on women’s health physical therapy to physical therapy students in Dallas, has provided education to groups throughout the community, as well as assisting in teaching continued education courses to physical therapists and other healthcare professionals. Her most important job is being a wife and mother to her silly, active little boy and sassy, precious daughter. She enjoys running, yoga, hiking, dancing, or anything that gets her moving and is always up for trying the newest fitness or wellness trends.

Alex is a Physical Therapist and pelvic floor specialist. She lives in Philadelphia and practices in various settings across the greater Philadelphia area. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Arcadia University in 2018. After a few years of clinical practice, Alex saw a gap in care that pelvic floor PT’s provide and connection to the psychosocial aspect of patients health especially for patients experiencing pain with sex. With this inspiration she became 1 of 5 physical therapists in the world certified through AASECT as a sex counselor. With these skills she also began working closely with the LGBTQ+ population as an ally and provider to help patients understand how gender identity and/or varieties of sexual expression and pelvic floor dysfunction can impact one another. During the COVID 19 pandemic she was able to use patient education to make telehealth sessions more meaningful and continues to focus her practice around patient empowerment and education.

Lauren graduated with her Bachelors in Biology/Psychology and a minor in Spanish from Northwest Missouri State University in 2014 and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Creighton University in 2017. Lauren is originally from Omaha, Nebraska and enjoys hiking, reading, volleyball, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Lauren became interested in pelvic floor therapy after having the opportunity to treat pelvic floor conditions in the outpatient orthopedic setting. She enjoyed seeing not just the physical but also the emotional benefits that the patients experience with pelvic floor rehab. Lauren understands that many diagnoses may cause a patient to feel uneasy and she strives to make each therapeutic experience as comfortable as possible to encourage open communication with her patients. Lauren’s focus is to improve her patient’s quality of life to allow them to return to the activities they enjoy.

April Smith, PT, DPT

April began practicing in 2006. After many years as a physical therapist practicing in various settings, becoming specialized in pregnancy and postpartum was a natural evolution in her career, blending her physical therapy training to help in the birthing world. April has received her Certification of Achievement in Pregnancy and Postpartum (CAPP-OB) from the American Physical Therapy Association. She has also trained as a doula and enjoys teaching childbirth classes. Serving as a labor support professional has created a special blending of her physical therapy expertise with her training in the birth process.
Her clinical experience in orthopedic and pediatric physical therapy has helped her treat patients with often overlooked or missed pelvic floor dysfunction. She enjoys treating runner’s and assessing the biomechanics of movement and tailoring exercises unique to that individual. She has a passion for helping women return to run safely in postpartum. She enjoys learning and is always looking for the next course that will help her assist patient’s in meeting their goals.

Natasha received her Associates in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from Austin Community College, Bachelors in Sports and Exercise Science from Texas State University, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Natasha moved to Austin in 2012 after receiving a contract to dance with Ballet Austin. Her passion for health and injury prevention began while utilizing Pilates during her profession as a ballerina. While in graduate school, Natasha discovered an affinity for pelvic physical therapy with emphasis on trauma recovery, chronic pain, and LBGTQ+ care. She would love to expand healthcare to folks undergoing gender affirmation procedures throughout all stages of transition. She is Pelvic Floor Level 1 certified through APTA, lumbopelvic dry needling certified, and has participated in several continuing education courses for trauma informed care and pelvic health.

Kimia Kardan received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Dance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL.
Kimia identified a need to open the discussion surrounding pelvic floor dysfunction, and hopes to make others more comfortable discussing it through her work. She strives to help each patient lead a healthier and happier life by creating an individualized and holistic plan of care. Christina McGee earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Iowa and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Delaware. She has been with Sullivan Physical Therapy since 2013 and serves as the head of the pediatric bowel and bladder program as well as the coordinator of clinical education. Christina has particular interests in the areas of sexual health, trauma, LGBTQIA+ health, and pregnancy/postpartum recovery. Christina treats at the north and south location and has twice been a top 5 contestant for Austin American Statesman’s “Best Physical Therapist in Austin.”
Christina is passionate about empowering patients through information, with goals of decreasing fear and enabling individuals to feel in control of symptoms. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and enjoys sharing information with the public through speaking engagements on topics of pelvic health, especially in regards to prevention and recognition of symptoms.

Combining her contagious joy and her heart for healing people emotionally and physically, Jenny has found a professional field she adores in pelvic floor therapy. In this setting, she gets to normalize conversations about pelvic pain and discomfort our culture has unfortunately made taboo, walk women and men through their healing journey, and interact with patients whose stories she’s eager to hear. At the end of the day, she wants her patients to know that they are not alone in their situation and there is a way to help.

Rehanna became interested in pelvic health while she was pregnant and delivered not once, but twice during her Physical Therapy studies. She was surprised to learn how underrepresented pelvic floor physical therapy was in the community and the physical therapy world; as she looked more into this specialty, she realized that many people who needed help had no idea that pelvic floor physical therapy could be beneficial. She completed a 3 month internship with Sullivan Physical Therapy as a student where she gained knowledge on treating various pelvic floor conditions and also had the unique experience of being a postpartum patient during her internship. She loves educating patients on common misconceptions in regard to pelvic floor and seeing patients regain control of their lives when they did not think it possible.
Areas of interest for Rehanna include: pregnancy/postpartum recovery, sexual health, and pediatric pelvic floor conditions. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and has taken the Pelvic Floor Level 1 Training with Herman and Wallace.
