What you should know about me: My name is Dr. Cindy Okpegbue. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in sports medicine in 2016 at Coppin State University. I then went on to receive my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the New York Institute of Technology in 2020. Over the last two years of being a physical therapist, women’s health and empowerment have been my passion. I have taken additional courses in this area of study to ensure I stay up to date with the latest clinical information. What I love about being a pelvic floor physical therapist is the ability to educate and advocate for individuals experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction.

My hobbies include running, lifting weights, listening to a podcast, traveling, and spending quality time with my friends and family. I have participated in a variety of sports throughout my life, including playing collegiate volleyball at a D1 university. I enjoy meeting new people and assisting individuals in reaching their full potential.
