Kimia Kardan received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Dance from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in Chicago, IL.
Kimia identified a need to open the discussion surrounding pelvic floor dysfunction, and hopes to make others more comfortable discussing it through her work. She strives to help each patient lead a healthier and happier life by creating an individualized and holistic plan of care. Her empathetic approach caters to patients’ needs by working with them to understand their diagnoses and the role of the mind-body connection during treatment.
Kimia has attended numerous pelvic health lectures and courses to broaden her knowledge and better serve her patients. She has also completed continuing education through Herman & Wallace Pelvic Institute.
