What you should know about me: McKenzie Becker earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.
She began her career in a rural outpatient clinic in Washington, treating a variety of orthopedic, neurological, and vestibular conditions. During this time, she developed a strong foundation in patient education and exercise prescription to help individuals reach their full therapeutic potential. Driven by a whole-person approach, McKenzie considers each patient’s unique goals, environment, and barriers when shaping treatment plans. Her passion for pelvic health grew from a desire to offer specialized care and help destigmatize pelvic floor conditions. She finds fulfillment in empowering patients with the knowledge and tools they need to manage musculoskeletal issues confidently.
McKenzie is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is committed to lifelong learning. Her clinical interests include Pain Neuroscience Education, the FITT principle for exercise prescription, return-to-sport guidance, and integrating Barbell Rehab methods for patients of all abilities.
Based in Austin, Texas, McKenzie enjoys life with her partner and two dogs. In her free time, she loves hiking, camping, kayaking, visiting breweries and parks, and sharing laughs with friends.
