After graduating with her BS in Kinesiology from Arizona State University, she went on to earn her doctorate of Physical Therapy from AT Still University in Mesa, Arizona. She became interested in physical therapy during her undergraduate studies when she volunteered at an outpatient orthopedic clinic. She loved being able to help people regain mobility and see their progress week to week. She decided to stay in San Diego to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine.
